Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place on 23 and 24 April 2024. Inspectors judged Radwinter Church of England Primary School to be Good overall, with Outstanding Personal Development and Outstanding Leadership and Management. They recognised the school's ambitious vision, exceptional care for pupils and commitment to providing a wealth of memorable experiences for every child. 

The inspection highlighted:

• A happy, inclusive and nurturing school community where pupils treat one another with dignity and respect and where everyone is valued and accepted. 

• Outstanding personal development, with pupils benefiting from an extraordinary range of enrichment opportunities, clubs and experiences designed to broaden horizons and prepare them for life beyond school. 

• Exceptional support for pupils with SEND, ensuring that all pupils learn successfully alongside their peers and are fully included in every aspect of school life. 

• Highly effective leadership and management, with leaders, governors and staff working together to continually improve the school and secure the very best outcomes for pupils. 

Pupils described the school as a place where nobody feels alone and where differences are celebrated. Inspectors praised the school's ambitious curriculum, strong culture of care and the extensive range of opportunities available to every child through clubs, visits, residentials and the school's unique programme of essential experiences. They also noted the overwhelming support of parents, with one parent describing Radwinter as"a treasure hidden in the countryside."

Our most recent SIAMS inspection took place on 18th June 2026 and celebrated the remarkable impact of our Christian vision and values on every aspect of school life. The inspection recognised Radwinter as a warm, nurturing and inclusive community where every child is known, valued and supported to flourish.

The inspection highlighted:

• A deeply embedded Christian vision that inspires and guides the whole school community, creating a culture where pupils and adults are encouraged to grow, learn and flourish together.

• Exceptional care and inclusion, ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their potential and experience a genuine sense of belonging, particularly those with additional needs or vulnerabilities.

• A joyful and meaningful culture of collective worship, which plays a central role in school life and provides opportunities for reflection, spiritual growth and pupil leadership.

• A rich curriculum shaped by opportunities for awe and wonder, helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, curiosity and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.

Inspectors recognised the school's strong, caring relationships and the way pupils embody our Christian values of kindness, respect, fairness, service and forgiveness in their daily interactions. Pupils spoke proudly about their school and the difference they make through leadership opportunities, worship, community involvement and acts of service.

As a result, the inspection concluded that Radwinter is a school where both pupils and adults are empowered to thrive, grow in character and truly embrace life in all its fullness.
