School Uniform

We are delighted to announce that our uniform supplier, BeeWear, has opened its new shop in the heart of Saffron Walden at 50 High Street, CB10 1EE. Families can visit the shop to purchase branded uniform items or order via their online shop: Radwinter C of E Primary School – Bee Wear.

Our uniform has been carefully designed in line with the Department for Education's guidance on school uniform costs, ensuring it is practical, affordable and represents excellent value for families. In keeping with this guidance, we keep the number of compulsory branded items to a minimum. The following branded items are required for all pupils:

Branded school jumper or cardigan
Branded PE shirt
Branded PE shorts or skort

All pupils are expected to wear our light blue polo shirt as part of the school uniform. Other items, including trousers, skirts, summer dresses, coats and footwear, can be purchased from a retailer of your choice.

We actively encourage families to reuse and recycle school uniform wherever possible. Our PTA regularly holds high-quality pre-loved uniform sales, providing an affordable and sustainable way for families to purchase nearly new uniform items. The PTA is always grateful to receive donations of clean, good-quality uniform that can be resold and rehomed within our school community. For uniform that is no longer suitable for reuse, clothing can be deposited in the blue recycling bin outside school. This helps to reduce waste whilst generating a small income for the school.
